One dozen (12) frozen nalysnyky with cottage cheese and dill.
- Dry curd cottage cheese
- sour cream
Instructions for cooking frozen nalysnyky
Nalysnyky will cook and taste better if they are first thawed out. Put the thawed nalysnyky in a greased casserole dish. Pour heavy cream to almost cover them. Sprinkle dill on top. Bake in oven at 350°F (175°C) for approximately 30 minutes or until the nalysnyky fluff up.
Add a cream dill sauce
In a pot, bring heavy cream to a boil. To thicken the sauce, add either a teaspoon or tablespoon of flour or cornstarch, depending on the amount of cream. Add green onion, dill, salt and pepper to taste. Serve with the nalysnyky.
